Connecting Billing to the Event

In Boost Express, every event must be linked to a billing account. This ensures that all advertising campaigns connected to the event are correctly attributed, and payouts are processed to the right banking details.

Billing account can be reused across multiple events, so you do not need to create a new one for each event.

Opening Billing Settings

  1. Open the Billing tab in your event setup.
  2. If you don’t have a billing account yet, you’ll be asked to create one.
  3. Click Create billing account and enter the details.

Caution: After sponsor campaigns begin running, the billing account cannot be changed.

Creating a Billing Account

To create a new billing account, start with the Basic information fields. After you choose a country, additional sections will appear for bank and beneficiary details.

Note: Some countries may require extra information for wire transfers. If this applies to your country, make sure to provide it when filling out billing details.

1. Basic information

  • Billing name – the name of your billing account.
  • Organisation address – registered address of the organisation.
  • Country and City – legal location of the organisation.
  • Currency – the payout currency for this billing account.

2. Beneficiary bank

  • SWIFT / BIC – identifier of the beneficiary bank.
  • Bank name and address – full details of the bank.

3. Ultimate beneficiary

  • IBAN – international account number.
  • Full name – name of the account holder, without initials.
  • Address – registered address of the account holder.

When all required fields are filled in, click Create to add the billing account and link it to the event.

Managing Multiple Accounts

You can manage your billing accounts in Billing section.

All tabs in this section include a dropdown menu to switch between accounts. Each account keeps its own settings and financial data.

This allows you to:

  • Use separate billing accounts if you work with different organizations or payout currencies.
  • Update details for an existing account without affecting others.

In this section, you can also create new billing accounts when needed.

Financial Tracking

The Billing section also includes tabs where you can track revenue, commissions, transactions, and withdrawal requests for the selected account:

  • Revenue reports – see sponsor spend, your commission, and forecasts.
  • Revenue share commissions – review revenue share rules per event.
  • Transactions – monitor charges and withdrawals.
  • Withdrawal requests – request payouts to the connected bank details.

For a detailed explanation of these tabs, see the article Billing Reports and Transaction History.
